I love you are three words that come out of my mouth several times a day. I am the kind of woman who will say those words to people I truly care about family or friends. I tell my girls that I love them before they leave for school and before the go to bed. I go in their rooms, talk to them for a few minutes and before I leave, I either kiss them or blow them a kiss followed with “I love you”. We have always done this, our ritual since they could talk, and for me, since they were born.
I didn’t hear that word a lot growing up, the love was there just didn’t hear it. I made a promise to myself, I would always tell my family that I loved them.
My husband and I say it to each other several ties a day….even when I don’t want to say it, I tell him…I love you.

I do not make the “I Love You” comment very often at all. I usually am saying “I Love You Too”. I don’t know, I never think about it. I also never feel unloved. Our family is so filled with displays of love that I don’t equate the phrase necessarily with validity. That’s just me, my Mother, and my Father. Now, the young one is a totally different ball game. She is always telling all of us she loves us and hugging on us and stuff and we laugh about it. I’m not married yet, but it will be interesting to see how my own household turns out. Kudos to you for ensuring that while they are young, wether they want to hear it or not…THEY DO! Have a blessed weekend.

I’m praying and hoping, I just want to them to have a realistic look on life but to remember to love the people in their circle, friends and family.
I am working so hard on saying I love you on a regular basis. I want my daughter to be raised knowing, through words and actions, that she is so so so loved.

That’s what I was thinking. My girls know I love them, and so does my husband…but I didn’t raise him, lol!
